Zanskar & Ladakh Adventure trail

From Darcha, Zanskar to Ladakh Lamayuru

240km- Elevation + 7735m – Elevation – 6952m

First edition of Zanskar & Ladakh Adventure Trail in India, the race includes racing cum hiking from the starting point Darcha with is in himachal Pradesh, and moving into the zanskar valley via Shinglo-La 5530m in altitude and entering the peaceful and nomadic zanskar valley. The end point is Lamayuru in Leh district.

It is about 24km and 7735m in altitude 6952m positive.et negative.

TRAIL PROGRAM
From 5 to 22 July 2014

DAY 1.     Arrival to Delhi and night bus to Manali

DAY2.     Day of acclimatization in Manali

DAY3.     Depart by bus to Darcha, overnight(3300m)

DAY4.     Bus to the start of the race to Sumdo(3920m     

                 altitude)

DAY5.     Sumdo / chumik – Nakpo(4640)15km, 720m +

DAY6      Chumik Nakpo / Kargiakh ( 4130m ) 30km, 455 + 

                 and 965-

DAY7.     Kargiakh / Phuktal(3930m) 30km, 320m + 120m –

DAY8.     Phuktal / Reru(3790m) 30km, 140m, 25km bus tp 
                 Padum (3570m).

DAY9.     Rest day in Padum which is the capital of Zanskar.

DAY10.   Padum / Hanumil (2270m) 42km, 380 + 730 –

DAY11.   Hnaunil / Anumala Base Camp (4200m) 20km, 
                1960 +, 914 –

DAY12.   Anumal Base Camp / Lingched (3960m) 15km, 
                 900+, 1530 –

DAY13.   Lingched / Singe La Base Camp (4430m ) 18km, 
                1500 +, 933 –

DAY14.   Singe La Base Camp (4500) 20km, 600 +, 400 -

DAY15.   The Sirsir / Kanji (4805m) 20km +900 and 1400 –  
                 the last step, and then                                  
                 transported to Lamayuru 2pm bus, night at 
                 Lamayuru.

DAY16.   Visit the monastery, then bus to leh (3500m)  
                 capital  of Ladakh.

DAY17.    Full day tour of Leh and its surroundings with the 
                 finest monasteries.

DAY18.    Departure to Delhi

DAY19.   Arrival in your Country.
